Ray recently took a hunting trip out West, along with his good friends Ripper and Handsome Man.  The dogs did not disappoint.  Take a look at some of the pictures taken along the way.

See Handsome below pointing at Sharptail Grouse and Bruno getting ready to fire.

Ripper and Ray ready for a flurry of Hungarian Partridge pointed by a Hungarian dog.  But the gun is Spanish.

Congratulations to Bonneterre Blazu Nova for earning his FDJ title on September 12, 2010 with scores of 92/100 and 97/100.  Below is a picture of Nova with his owner Julie, Ray, and the field test judge.

Congratulations go out to littermates Bonneterre Blazu Nova and Bonneterre Blazu Xander who performed well in their NAVHDA debuts in August 2010.  Xander scored 102 for a Prize II while Nova continued to show his exceptional ability in the field scoring a PERFECT 112 score for a Prize I.  Below is a pictured of Nova with his owners Julie and Chris, Ray, and the NAVHDA judges.

Here are some pictures of Ray with a recent litter, getting them ready for the field and rewarding a handsome young male with a refreshing beverage:

Here is a picture of Dragon who was Lucky #13 in a litter from Stoney (See Our Dogs) and Aszu (See Stud Dogs).  Believe it or not, she was flat as a pancake when she was born.  Many people told Ray that she would not survive and that he should consider putting her to sleep.  But Ray had a feeling about her.  As you can see, his instincts were right on and she developed into a beautiful girl.  Dragon recently went 2, 3, and 4 at the 2010 Vizsla Nationals and won Best of Breed on Sunday of the 2010 Purina Nationals.  She also has a NAVHDA Prize II and an FDJ designation to her credit.  You can read more about her Cinderella Story in the Vizsla Canada Magazine.

Below are a couple of pictures of Dragon taken recently at Nationals in Woodstock).

Dragon is the fourth dog from the left below.

Here is a shot of Toldi, Ripper's father (and Aszu's grandfather) showing a tremendous point in the field.

Here is Bonneterre Tuckamore showing natural pointing instinct which the judges saw in 2005 awarding him #1 Vizsla in Canada with a qualifying score of 96.3%.

Below you can see Ray taking a closer at CH Bonneterre StoneAz Squid Jiggy (Max) who is showing great confirmation as a puppy.  Max would go on to great things, winning Winner's Dog - Best Dog at the Vizsla Nationals.

Here is a pup looking proud after retrieving a large chucker.

Introducing Bonneterre Blaszu Alexander the Great (Xander) from the August 17, 2009 litter.

You can see the similar body and conformation at 6 weeks (above) and at 9.5 months (below):

Here's another shot of of Xander at 9 months old having fun in the backyard.

On June 12, 2010, Bonneterre Blazu Nova and Bonneterre Blazu Xander, littermates of Bonneterre Blazu Cleo, shown on the Our Dogs page, both qualified for their first two legs of FDJ and joined Cleo on the podium winning Silver and Bronze in the Most Versatile Dog category.  Nova scored an impressive 93 and Xander scored 85, both in their first field test, both turning just 9.5 months of age.

Below are some great shots of Nova showing the great retrieving instincts with the ball and the frisbee.  And he loves the water.....
